Rinse the Ear syringe with water before each use.
1. Use water at body temperature. Never use cold water.
2. The subject should sit down and place a small basin under the ear to receive the return water. The head should be slightly tilted to the ear for irrigation.
3. Gently pull the earlobe back and up to expose the ear canal. The tip of the syringe should be slightly upward toward the ear canal side rather than directly toward the tympanic membrane. Do not let the tip of the syringe touch or enter the ear canal.
4. Gently squeeze the contents onto the side of the ear canal. Never force an injection.
